You have the opportunity to support work of Southwest Voter Registration Education Project at four great events that will be held on July 18th and 19th during the 3rd Annual National Latino Congreso where substantive issues at the national level, including foreign and domestic policy, health care and education, issues on the environment, and education will be addressed. SVREP is currently on-the-ground working arduously to register an unprecedented number of Latinos to vote and take part in the upcoming presidential elections. As the fastest-growing electorate in the United States, Latinos have played a key role in the presidential primaries! SVREP will outreach to voters at the community, school, church, and Latina-owned business level. Latinos will likely cast 10 million votes in the November elections if we achieve our goals. Since its inception 35 years ago, SVREP has conducted over 2,500 civic and voter participation campaigns resulting in over 2,300,000 new voters and trained over 100,000 volunteers in fifteen states. With your help, we can do much, much more. Select one or all of the fundraising events to take place during the 2008 National Latino Congreso and support the oldest civic and voter participation organization in the nation continue its work to engage the Latino community in the democratic process.
