Founded in 1974, SVREP is America’s largest and oldest non-profit non-partisan Latino civic/voter participation organization. Nationally over the last three decades SVREP has registered over 2.2 million new voters in over 2,300 non-partisan voter registration, voter education, and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) campaigns. Last year, SVREP Latino Vote 2002 was impressive in yielding nearly 20,000 newly registered voters in 38 non-partisan voter registration education projects in 8 states.
